Dr.
Demetrius H. Bagley trained at the University of Chicago
under Dr. Edward Lyons, he is currently a professor of
Urology
and
Radiology in the Department of Urology at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
Dr. Bagley has devoted
his career to the endoscopic management of urologic diseases.
Dr. Sonya Bettenay is an Australian trained veterinarian specializing
in Dermatology and Feline Medicine. Formerly an Assistant Professor of
Dermatology at Colorado State University, she now lives and practices in
Munich, Germany.
June A. Boon is currently working at CSU Veterinary
Teaching Hospital, she is a Cardiology Services Coordinator,
performing
cardiac
workups including echocardiograms, auscultation, and electrocardiograms.
She also teaches
the veterinary medicine students, residents and interns echocardiography and
its interpretation.
Dr. Dennis E. Brooks is a Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida,
College
of Veterinary Medicine and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary
Ophthalmologists.
Naomi
L. Burtnick is a Certified Veterinary Technician
and a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
Dr.
Chrisman is Professor of Neurology and Chief of Neurology
Services at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary
Medicine.
Dr. Akhil Das is
an attending urologist at Northwestern regional Hospital
in Las Vegas, New
Mexico. He served as
Chief Urology resident under Dr. Bagley and completed a one
year fellowship with
Drs. Gilling and Fraundorfer,
pioneers of Holmium laser prostatectomy. He is an active member of several
medical societies and has published
over 30 peer-reviewed articles and several urology textbook chapters. He
has been the keynote speaker
for Holmium Laser usage at workshops around the world.
Dr. M. Scott Echols is a graduate of Texas A & M University
and a specialist in Exotic Pet Medicine and Surgery. His primary interest
is
in Avian medicine
and surgery currently working in an Exotic/Small Animal practice in Austin,
Texas.
Dr.
Larry R. Engelking is
a Professor of Physiology at Tufts University School
of
Veterinary
Medicine and Tufts Medical School.
Sam Galvagno, D.O. is
presently a United States Air Force
flight surgeon for the 63rd F-16 fighter squadron
at Luke Air
Force Base, Arizona. He graduated from Mount Saint
Mary`s
College in Emmitsburg, MD with a B.S. in biopsychology
in
1996. During this time, he attained certification
as a
Nationally Registered Emergency Medical
Technician-Paramedic, and worked for various advanced
life
support agencies in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and
New York.
He earned his medical degree in 2000 from the New
York
College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury,
NY. At
the time this text was completed, he was serving
as an
emergency medicine physician and general medical
officer
at Osan Air Force Base, Korea.
Dr. Ann Hargis is a graduate of
Colorado State University and a full time Dermatopathologist
with
Dermatodiagnostics in Edmonds, Washington.
Dr.
Anthony P. Knight is the Director
of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at CSU. He
is an equine
practitioner
with a life long interest in Botany and plant
toxicity’s
and he has an international reputation.
Dr.
Christopher Mariani, Associate Professor, University
of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Peter S. MacWilliams is Professor of Clinical
Pathology, at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary
Medicine.
His principal research interests are cytologic diagnosis
of disease in domestic animals; application of laboratory
tests to production
enhancement; bone marrow responses to systemic diseases
in cattle.
Dr. Fred L. Metzger founded and practices at
the “Metzger
Animal Hospital” at the State College in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Wallace B. Morrison is
Professor of Veterinary Clinical Sciences and Director
of Continuing Veterinary
Education at Purdue University’s
School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr.
Ralf S. Müller is an assistant professor
of Veterinary Dermatology in the department of Clinical
Sciences
at Colorado
State University,
Fort Collins, Colorado. He is a diplomate of the American College
of Veterinary Dermatology and a fellow of the Australian College
of Veterinary Science.
Dr. Robert J. Murtaugh is the Northeast Regional
Director of Veterinary Clinics of North America (VCNA), a Diplomate

and a Founding Member

Dr. Robert T. O'Brien was formerly
a faculty member at the University of Wisconsin
and is now in practice with Michigan Veterinary Specialists in

Dr. Timothy R. O’Brien is a founding member
